The Temporal data in a fast-changing world! training focuses on methods and techniques for handling bitemporal data in a data warehouse. This includes data modeling, loading bitemporal data into a target data object in the core layer of the data warehouse, and finally making this data available to users.
Nowadays, a data warehouse stores more or less historical data. But what about events that took place outside the represented time span? Or with data that arrives late in the data solution? Or with data that will be valid in the future? For example, planned prices for products and goods, or future special prices for discount promotions such as Black Friday in the USA.
The training addresses these questions in three modules and offers answers and solutions.
All modules contain realistic examples and the participants apply what they have learned in exercises. The SQL tutorials and solutions belonging to the exercises are made freely available to the participants.

Modules
