As a long-standing partner of TEDAMOH, we would like to express our enthusiasm and appreciation for the cooperation in our Smart Factory project. One of our outstanding achievements was the successful implementation of a fully automated production line at our plant in Bamberg.
Not only were process and quality data recorded, but all production data from plants in Germany, Turkey and the USA was stored in a data warehouse. This enables a transparent and precise mapping of the material flow on a global level and the comparison of production lines.
The integration of data from our Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) has led to significant benefits in terms of inventory transparency and quality assurance. Production has been efficiently strengthened through a significant increase in overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), shorter cycle times, production line savings and the parallel introduction of fully automated lines, resulting in reduced production costs.
We are proud to be part of this project and look forward to the future successes that TEDAMOH and Bosch Bamberg will achieve together. This Smart Factory project is a prime example of the future of the manufacturing industry.
